I am happy for the both of you. As for the "idea" versus the reality... I feel you on that. But I've also learned that without the hard parts the benefits aren't as rewarding anyways. It takes greater love to do the hard parts... which, in my opinion, also makes it better. I know, that you too will make fantastic parents.
