CTV purchases The Hockey Theme
I am not sure if CBC couldn’t afford it, or CTV snuck in and stole it, but something about hearing the Hockey Night In Canada theme song on TSN, just doesn’t feel right.

I heard on the radio the other day that CBC was paying the composer $500 every time the song was played. I think hearing the Hockey Night in Canada theme song on TSN is gonna be much like the time that Marilyn Manson covered amazing grace.
